Smiling faces, radiant eyes, daily life scenes, festivals, labor moments, and the vibrant costumes of Vietnam’s ethnic minorities come to life in a powerful, authentic photo exhibition by a group of talented female photographers.

The Vietnam Women’s Museum is currently hosting a special photo exhibition titled Colors of Life of Vietnam’s Ethnic Communities, featuring 54 standout photographs by 25 members of the Hai Au Female Photography Club.
Each photograph vividly captures the unique lifestyle, culture, and people of Vietnam’s 54 ethnic groups from across the country’s S-shaped landscape.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Ho Sy Minh, Standing Vice President of the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists and Editor-in-Chief of Photography and Life magazine, praised the exhibition’s deep emotional resonance:
“Colors of Life of Vietnam’s Ethnic Communities showcases artworks rich in humanistic emotion and creative passion. These women love beauty and life, and they are deeply committed to capturing authentic moments of Vietnam’s people and natural landscapes.”
In celebration of the exhibition, the Hai Au Club also released a photobook of the same name, comprising 298 beautifully printed, full-color images.
The collection highlights powerful moments from daily life, spirituality, traditions, and labor practices across ethnic communities. It stands as a testament to the dedication of female photographers in preserving and honoring Vietnam’s rich cultural heritage through the art of photography.
The exhibition is open to the public at the Vietnam Women’s Museum until the end of October 2025.
