On the morning of October 8, Kinh Te & Do Thi newspaper, in collaboration with the Hanoi Senior Photographers’ Club and the Center for Cultural and Scientific Activities at Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam, officially opened the 20th edition of the “Hanoi in Me” photo exhibition under the theme Hanoi in the era of transformation.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Loi, Editor-in-Chief of Kinh Te & Do Thi and head of the organizing committee, emphasized that this year's theme serves as a tribute to Hanoi - an enduring capital of heroism and culture that continues to evolve and thrive in the era of global integration.
The exhibition features 80 vibrant photographs highlighting Hanoi’s most prominent achievements during the five-year implementation of the 17th Party Congress Resolution (2020-2025), while also reflecting the political system’s efforts in implementing the two-tier local government model.
The exhibition is divided into two sections:
Section 1 - Hanoi’s effective and seamless local governance: This part showcases the operations of 126 newly established wards and communes since the official implementation of the two-tier government model on July 1, 2025.
Section 2 - The 18th Hanoi Party Congress: A landmark in a new era: This segment highlights Hanoi’s comprehensive development across politics, economy, culture, and society, as well as the festive atmosphere surrounding major milestones such as the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and Vietnam’s National Day on September 2.
Veteran photographer Nguyen Van Phuc, head of the Hanoi Senior Photographers’ Club, shared that senior photographers have always held a deep affection for Hanoi. Each image on display reflects that emotional bond - showcasing a city that is evolving every day, yet still rich with traditional charm.
