In Group C, Vietnam U17 got off to a dream start with a commanding 6–0 win over Singapore. Under coach Cristiano Roland, the team scored three goals in each half, demonstrating dominance from start to finish and solidifying their credentials as group favorites.

Even more eye-catching was Malaysia’s performance in the same group. The U17 squad stunned the Northern Mariana Islands with a 13–0 demolition - powered by two hat-tricks and relentless attacking speed. With a superior goal difference, Malaysia temporarily overtook Vietnam to top the group.

Myanmar added to the region’s success by beating Afghanistan 3–1 in Group G, executing a well-organized, disciplined game plan and capitalizing on key moments.

The Philippines U17 team, meanwhile, delivered a gutsy performance but narrowly fell 2–3 to Iraq. Despite the loss, they drew praise for their courage and ability to push one of the tournament's heavyweights to the limit.
