Vietnam's U17 team eased past the Northern Mariana Islands with a commanding 14-0 victory, taking over the top position in Group C of the 2026 AFC U17 Asian Cup qualifiers from Malaysia.

As expected, the team coached by Cristiano Roland dominated every aspect of the match. The scoring opened just 32 seconds after kickoff, with Manh Quan's clever finish setting the tone for a one-sided affair.

The Vietnamese squad maintained relentless pressure, leaving their opponents with little room to breathe. The gulf in quality was immediately apparent as Vietnam continually broke through Northern Mariana’s defense. Manh Quan, Van Duong, Nguyen Luc, Minh Thuy, Hoang Viet, and Dai Nhan all found the back of the net in a goal fest.

Even after rotating the lineup in the second half, coach Roland’s side maintained their dominance. The comprehensive 14-0 scoreline pushed Vietnam to the top of Group C, thanks to their superior goal difference.
