The incident occurred around 2:30 PM on October 16 near Bach Dang Park along Tran Phu Street, in Nha Trang Ward, Khanh Hoa Province.

At that time, Waterway Police Team No. 1 received an emergency report that a foreign tourist was drowning while swimming near the park-just a short distance from the team’s headquarters.

Recognizing the urgency, the unit commander immediately dispatched three officers aboard a specialized rescue canoe to approach the scene as quickly as possible.

Within a short time, the rescue team reached the location and promptly carried out lifesaving measures, safely bringing the tourist ashore.

The tourist was identified as Denis, 24, a Moldovan national.

According to the command of Waterway Police Team No. 1, Denis’s health has since stabilized, and he is no longer in any danger, thanks to the timely rescue.
