According to the decision by the Standing Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee, Tuan will officially be transferred to the capital and appointed to the dual role of Deputy Head of Propaganda and Mass Mobilization, and future Director of the capital's media agency.
Nguyen Van Phong, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee, emphasized that Tuan brings a wealth of experience in leadership and administration across various sectors, including journalism and the National Assembly.
Phong noted that Hanoi holds high expectations for the establishment of a centralized media institution - combining newspaper, radio, and television operations - which is envisioned as a crucial instrument for the city’s Party organization and government in public communication, consensus building, and inspiring civic ambition.
The city’s leadership expressed its hope that Tuan would swiftly adapt to his new role and collaborate with the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department to develop and present a proposal for the establishment of the new media agency to the Standing Committee of the Party Committee.
In his remarks at the conference, Tuan pledged to devote his full efforts to contributing to the department’s mission. He also expressed commitment to enhancing media content quality, amplifying positive values, and staying attuned to the public's concerns and aspirations, thereby reinforcing social trust and unity.
Born in 1975, Tuan has had a long career in journalism. He previously worked at the Voice of Vietnam and the National Assembly Television Channel. He has served as Deputy Chief of the National Assembly Office since September 2020.
