The Elisa floating restaurant ship, the largest of its kind in Vietnam, once a dining landmark on the Saigon River with a capacity of 1,000 guests, is now up for auction along with a Toyota Camry.

Agribank Saigon Branch has announced the auction of assets linked to a customer’s debt, with the outstanding loan recorded at nearly 137.6 billion VND (about 5.45 million USD) as of July 31, 2025.

Collateral includes the floating restaurant ship Elisa (registration number SG 3128), certified by the Department of Transport on October 24, 2012. The vessel is currently anchored at Saigon Port, 5 Nguyen Tat Thanh Street, District 4, Ho Chi Minh City.

Also listed is a Toyota Camry SE 3.5 (license plate 51A-113.35), registered on May 25, 2011.

The bank has not disclosed starting prices for either asset.

The Elisa, unique in Vietnam, is permanently docked at Saigon Port and is promoted as the nation’s largest floating restaurant. It features five floors, multiple private dining areas, and the capacity to host 1,000 guests at a time.

Back in March 2025, the Ho Chi Minh City Asset Auction Service Center had announced plans to auction a debt of nearly 134 billion VND (about 5.3 million USD) belonging to Hao Huy Trading Co., Ltd., the vessel’s owner, with Agribank Saigon as the creditor.

Founded in 2005 with charter capital of 60 billion VND (about 2.37 million USD), Hao Huy invested in Elisa to run a floating restaurant and catering services business.
