On November 11, leaders from the Hai Hau Commune People's Committee confirmed that the man in the video was indeed the school's board chairman.

Following the incident, the school's board convened and reached a unanimous decision to terminate Mr. N.V.D.'s employment.

The controversy erupted after several clips were widely circulated on social media, showing a man engaging in inappropriate behavior with a woman in what appeared to be a professional setting.

On November 10, To Hien Thanh High School submitted an incident report to the Hai Hau Commune People’s Committee and the Department of Secondary Education.

In its report, the school clarified that the individual seen in the video was neither the principal nor a member of the teaching or administrative staff under the Department of Education’s authority.

According to the report, the man had never taught at any educational institution.

It also stated that the office seen in the video did not belong to any facility managed by the school.

On the same day, Hai Hau Commune authorities announced that local police were conducting an investigation to verify the video's content, origin, timing, and who was responsible for its release.
