The Golden Globe Awards for Science and Technology were presented to 10 young scientists on the evening of October 29. The awards, jointly organized annually by the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the Ministry of Science and Technology, honor up to 10 young talents under the age of 35 each year.
This year, the two youngest awardees were born in 1995: Dr. Vu Thai Hoc, a lecturer at the Institute for Information Technology and Digital Transformation Training at Thu Dau Mot University, and MSc. Nguyen Ba Manh, a researcher at the Institute of Chemistry under the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology.
Only one female scientist made it to the top 10 in 2025: Dr. Dang Thi Le Hang, born in 1992, from the Institute of Advanced Technology, Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology. Her research focuses on developing smart biomedical materials from natural polymers that can regenerate tissue and support the treatment of chronic diseases.
