The quakes, ranging from magnitude 2.6 to 3.6, were recorded at 5:22 a.m., 8:41 a.m., 9:54 a.m., and 10:37 a.m. All had a focal depth of about 8.1 kilometers and were classified at disaster risk level 0.

The previous night, September 28, Mang But commune also experienced two tremors at 8:23 p.m. and 11:44 p.m.

Dang Ba Lam, Party Secretary of Mang But commune, said the quakes caused brief shaking but no casualties or property damage. Local authorities have provided residents with guidance on how to stay safe during tremors.
