On the evening of November 24, local authorities shared their preliminary damage report with VietNamNet.

As of midday on November 24, 25 residents had died due to the flooding. A staggering 4,820 homes were completely submerged, and 24 homes collapsed entirely. The flood also killed 65 livestock - mainly buffaloes and cows - and washed away or inundated approximately 3,000 tons of food supplies.

The deluge caused widespread destruction to transportation systems, irrigation canals, government offices, schools, and other public infrastructure. Initial estimates put the total financial loss at more than VND 560 billion.

In response to the disaster, local authorities have mobilized military and police forces to support residents in immediate cleanup and recovery efforts.

The community is working urgently to restore basic living conditions, clear debris, and stabilize livelihoods after the storm.
