Their visit came as part of a business and cultural trip to Vietnam, where they attended the international conference titled “Ninh Binh – a strategic destination for tourism, film, and high-end weddings.”
During their tour of Ninh Binh’s scenic attractions, the Indian delegation explored the famed Tam Coc - Bich Dong tourist area.
They expressed their admiration for the stunning autumn scenery, especially the gentle flow of the Ngo Dong River lined with radiant pink water lilies on both banks.
“The scenery here is truly spectacular,” shared a representative of the Indian group. “Clear waters, lush pink blooms stretching along the riverbanks - it’s like stepping into a painted dreamscape.”
The water lily season on the Ngo Dong River typically spans from September to November. This is when the flowers are in full bloom, creating an ideal backdrop for sightseeing, photography, and cultural experiences for both local and international tourists.
On November 22–23, Tam Coc will host the cultural and artistic event “Pink Shades of Tam Coc 2025 – An Autumn Love Song.” The program honors the region’s natural beauty, heritage, and people.
Inspired by the legend of the water lilies blooming on Ngo Dong River, the event weaves a mythical love story between a fairy and a mortal - where a farewell tear transforms into delicate pink flowers that rise gently above the water’s surface.
Each autumn, as Tam Coc is bathed in soft pink hues, the Ngo Dong River becomes a natural tapestry guiding visitors into what feels like a living fairytale.
